There are a couple of things in the works around the studio, and to get everything put together I am going to need some help from my readers. So I hereby announce, the big photo contest!

This post contains 15 of my very favorite images from 2008 — the ones I think would look awesome if they were blown up BIG. [I meant to cut it down to 10 or less, but I had a hard enough time cutting it down to 15! So there you go]. The reason for this contest is not only to give me another chance to show some of my favorite older photos, but also to help me decide which photos I should submit for an art gallery show at a local baby & children’s store. I really want to be selected, so help me out please!

THE PRIZE: the top 3 winners will each receive their choice of one of two custom-designed items containing images from their previous session with the studio. One option is a cool square collage (up to 20×20 inches in size) that contains up to 15 images from the session. The other option is a 10×20 storyboard with up to 3 images from their session, complete with borders and/or quotations. The winner’s choice will be printed on professional paper and mounted on styrene for protection — this custom art piece will be ready for framing and is sure to look gorgeous on the wall!

Special additional prize: I don’t want to leave anyone out, so here’s an additional prize for the voters out there. I will use a random number generator to select one voter from the comments. This person will receive a brand new copy of “The Digital Photography Book” by Scott Kelby, which I think is one of the best beginner photography books out there.

RULES: please vote in the comments for your favorite photo. Each person is allowed to vote only once, but please by all means feel free to forward on to all your family and friends! The contest will end at exactly noon central time on Monday, November 3.

Edited to add: remember this is not a cutest child contest. All of these children are priceless and beautiful. This contest is purely to vote on which photo that I took that you like the best. Thanks!
